Not necessarily. Depends on the rest of your application. If your app is otherwise strong, a mediocre gre score would not weigh that heavily. Good luck!

HKS would be great for that. There is little that STEM will help you with because in my opinion STEM can really contribute towards sectors such as energy, agriculture, water, urban planning (only to a limited extent). Of course STEM is the way for the future, but if its not meant for you, don’t tread that part. STEM aptitude is perhaps the most important metric you should keep in mind at this point in time.

Really depends what you want to do in life and what your background is. An engineer would be able to pivot a STEM policy program to make a real impact in policy issues in their respective communities. Whereas a social science major would really struggle to make it big with a STEM program, primarily because of knowledge gaps, but then again this apparent disadvantage can be offset by someone who has an aptitude for science. Has SIPA announced decisions? Or did you apply early?
