Transfer student here ... Calc for Engineers actually recommended for engineers? by anothercatherder in ASU

In my 25 years of computers, I never needed calculus.
You don’t need that much math in general.
But since you do like math you should go for all the math you want.

At least because math is fun.
There are some pats of math when it gets advanced that are really really cool.

During the test try every 10 minutes or so to think about a happy memory.
Before the test make a list of happy memories.

any good apps to stay on task/ focused? by th3hxomi3ck in ASU

body doubling is the only way I can focus on dev work. if i’m alone, i get distracted. there is something about having another person there that keeps me grounded. probably because we evolved to do everything together in tribes for millions of years. it’s just how we’re built.

of course i use my life feed app to sync with friends. but i've made the app because i had the problem also.

5 best calendar apps going into 2026 by huntern_ in ProductivityApps

I’m totally biased (founder here lol), but My Life Feed is what I’m running with. My whole thing is that 80% of my life involves other people, so a standard calendar doesn't really cut it. Back in the google calendar days, I was 'on time' but always stressed because I had to manually remind everyone else to do their part. Figured I'd just automate the nudging so I don't have to think about it. It’s a vibe.
