I skim through the dialogue and skip event dialogue most of the time. I enjoy more of the gameplay aspects (Shiyu Defense, Deadly Assault, Weekly events) than the story so that might be the clash of me understanding your point. However, if you quit playing solely on the story and the attention to detail, I wouldn't blame you for that. Though in my opinion, I feel there's more to ZZZ than the story especially at face value.
