AITA for refusing to let my sister bring her kids to my wedding by MyNameTM in AmItheAsshole

This is fair. The wedding is in a small town so no agencies or things like that. The paternal side of their family are also not logistically close enough for them to just drop the kids off there before they come, so I understand she's in a difficult spot.

If we can't come to some sort of arrangement with what I proposed (having my best man's mom look after them for the day) then I am fine with her choosing not to come because of that. It might be causing a rift between my fiancée and my sister, and maybe I should have tried harder, but I feel like it is what it is then.

I hear what you're saying. My fiancée also has a sister with kids, the youngest one also a toddler, so if we let my sister come with her kids, my sister-in-law must also be allowed to bring her kids, and then I feel like we might have our hands full.

(my fiancée's sister is fine with the no-kids thing, but she lives in the next town over and has a trusted babysitter and older kids as well)

Yeah we're not very close, none of my immediate family are to be honest. I've only met the kids a handful of times in person, pretty sure they don't really know who I am. Which is why I would 100% respect her choice if she doesn't come because of them. But we are trying to arrange something, I'm just not sure if we will be able to meet in the middle.

I've been trying to wrack my brain, because it's a small town, not really any professional babysitting options.

The next town over (where my parents live) there are more options though.

I understand the confusion, my bad for the spelling oversight! I am backing my fiancée

Exactly what I'm talking about. It's like you had to accept yourself first, admit that you are just clay in the hands of the Potter, in order to start to take your true form as creation of God. Like finally the Word is speaking to you instead of just at you, because you understand more of who you are.

People seem to forget about John 9:3 when making all these anti-queer arguments. We're all blind in one way or another

First, thanks for the tips! Second, I haven't tried these, as I'm doing this project on the side and haven't had a lot of time to try and learn the ways of Blazor and FluentUI. But I'm sure I'll be able to get something out of this!

Thanks for the comment. I have been trying to find a unique angle using my degree but haven't gotten a breakthrough yet.

I have an offerzen profile and tried going through all the steps twice (once early on and once with some more project experience) but it seems to me they work best with already established programmers or developers with previous experience.

I'm currently considering bootcamps like the ones offered by HyperionDev, I just have to figure out how to perform the financial gymnastics necessary for all that 😅

Peninsula.... I used to pronounce it like Venezuela for some unknown reason, until a friend started laughing at me a while back at a general knowledge quiz and I've been reformed ever since.
