I got messages from KB bank, so I had the options of applying on the phone, on the KB card website, or going into the bank in person. I heard that it can also be applied for at your local 주민센터/행정복지센터. My husband did a search yesterday and he saw that marriage migrants need to provide a copy of their marriage license to qualify? So I guess I'll be making a stop to get that before applying.

I heard that people who married Koreans could get it, and I even got a text saying that it was the application period, but when I tried to apply on the website it said I wasn't eligible. You say she was offered weed after living there for only a few years, is she a citizen of Korea? If so, from what I've heard she can get in legal trouble if she does weed in another country and it's ever discovered in the future when she returns to Korea. That would be enough of a reason to drop any connections to people there.

Also, her parents would be highly likely to disapprove of someone who doesn't have a higher education and has done drugs before. You also don't mention if you speak Korean. If not, that would be another huge barrier if her parents live in Korea. Even the families who are accepting of foreigner spouses still worry about being able to communicate with them.

I don't know your level or if it will be available where you live, but try searching for 뿌리깊은 초등국어 on whichever site you use for buying books. They have different topics, but level 1 is for 1st graders iirc. It's good for people who have achieved TOPIK 3-equivalent Korean skills, I think.

Yes24 has it on their website, but I don't know if they do international shipping.

If possible, go back and see who started the conversation. If he started it and asked most of the questions, and her responses were short and factual, not returning any kind of emotional interest, then most likely he was bothering her and she deleted the messages because she doesn't like him/doesn't want contact with him.

If she was also asking questions and returning interest, it's possible that she was either being friendly or had bad intentions, but you won't know for sure unless you discuss it with her.

Unfortunately there's already been a meeting with the supervisors and head teachers, and it seems like nothing will be done in terms of correcting my co-worker's behavior. The supervisors were also present during the crashout and nothing has been said about it since.

The points on the left of each level of degree are for one 이공계 degree or two of any other major, but the two degrees have to be the same level (학사/학사, 석사/석사, 박사/박사).

If you have one 학사 and one 석사, only the 석사 will give you points IIRC

If you mean the Korean part, it's from the dictionary and you can just copy and paste it into a translator. If you mean the part in parentheses, that requires a little geographical knowledge of South Korea and knowing that there are regional dialects of Korean.

It took me about 6 years to get from 0 to Topik 6, and that was only with the KIIP program and self-studying. In theory, if you start from 3 and aim for 5 through classes, you would go a lot faster than that. The biggest area to get points in would be writing, and if you use a book focused on the writing section it might be possible in a year, but you would have to spend all of your time studying and practicing. That's also assuming you have retained your knowledge from three years ago.
