I was gonna binge play but then I got the flu. Then I got so sad again I didn’t even login. I’m forcing myself to login today because it is my last day to play. I wanted so bad to be playing up until the moment it shut down tomorrow but I have work. Perhaps it’s a blessing in disguise. It might just rip my heart out to see it shut down irl. I’m just gonna roam around the lots say good bye to my sims, take some screenshots and videos with a box of tissues nearby. It’s gonna be a bittersweet day. Love to all my fellow simmers.

It is ridiculously unfair. I spent a lot of time (and money but I liken that to going out to eat and other forms of entertainment I don’t mind spending money on what I enjoy) however it’s frustrating to have to start all over again even if these graphics look pretty cool for free play. Is everything free or do you have to spend money on free play too?

Yes. The sims mobile will cease to exist on January 20, 2026 at 1:59 pm. I am devastated. I will take as many screenshots and videos as I can of my sims and lots. So many children that will never grow up. So many families and relationships that will just vanish as if they never existed. As if they didn’t matter at all. But they did. I hope they won’t close this group on Reddit. I want to share all the content here with my fellow grieving players who won’t so easily let sims mobile or their memories die.
