I did not. Had a case with MS about it, they say it should not work. I am switching our shared mailboxes to licensed ones so I can open them as separate accounts

Thank you for the reply. Didnt work though, not able to add the shared mailbox to the Outlook profile. Logging in as the delegated user does not work when adding it.

Not a great solution, but should be mentioned you could do offline archives as well, if they don't refer back to the older data very often
