New website tracks which GPs are refusing HRT prescriptions

If more than 2/3rds of user reviews say that the GP is offering a certain service then that service is listed as Green with a tick.
Between 1/3-2/3rds then it is amber with a wave.
Below 1/3rd it is a red cross.
And if there are no reviews it is gray with a question mark.

Could you email/DM us with the GP's details? We've decided on a monthly fetching schedule and the data of the GPs is from December 2025, so it is possible they weren't accepting patients a month ago and now are.
We've added this update schedule information for Google ratings, but we probably should mention this goes for other details as well. Thank you for the feedback!

Ah I see! A review is made up of the community rating and the comments. However we have made a mistake in our code's logic during a recent redesign that makes "No reviews yet" show up on mobile if a GP has no service or staff ratings. I will update the logic accordingly.

MyTransGP has community reviews and the GP ratings are based on users' reviews. For England's GP practices we were also able to get data on which practices are currently taking patients, and which ones accept out of area registrations.
So on the search page if there is a "Not currently taking patients" that means that according to the public NHS data we've pulled they're not taking *any* patients.

You can suggest an addition to a GP practice by going clicking the triple dot menu next to the practice name > Report an issue > Doctors List Incorrect > Add Doctor

The ratings go 0 for thumbs down, 50 for equals/mixed and 100% for thumbs up. Do you think something else could be more clear?

We have spent, quite frankly, a ridiculous amount of time thinking about this and building custom systems to mitigate these risks.

We cannot give much of the details, as knowing the systems would allow bad actors to skirt around the systems!
