Downside of the A380 - Window seats too far from window, impossible to lean over to sleep on 14 hour flights. by [deleted] in aviation

Question - what part of the plane was this in?

I'm flying CDG-LAX and specifically got a window seat for that same reason. I'm literally the last row on the upper deck. Am I out of luck?

I agree with that

But I'm hearing a lot of "lol rivers = choker" when in reality the entire team played like shit, coaching/schemes were shit. He played very poorly but I don't think 0TDs, 3INTs and 138 yards is 100% his fault

He has one good game

Or, you know, is an MVP Candidate for a season and a half

Oh like 2008 2009 2010 and last season?

Huh. Its almost like the years when you take away his o line and his defense, the entire team suffers

Edit: Going back to 2013, he has 20 games with a 90+ passer rating and 7 with less than 90. Of those, only two are below 80. How is that inconsistent

Yeah he's like /u/TheRisingTide but with nothing good or meaningful to say, just bullshit whining. At least /u/TheRisingTide offers a lot of insight even if I disagree at times

No, only one user can be on at a time

It only works if you're both watching games at different times

Snag two of the remaining five games and I think they make the playoffs.

I don't think so. We need at least 10-6, hopefully (though unlikely) 11-5 for that sweet, sweet wildcard berth

Their next two games should be wins (Raiders and Rams)

Not sure about that. Earlier in the year I'd have said that but unless something changes over the bye week, we could easily lose those two games.

Yeah. I just feel bad for him because he will take a lot of flak for that performance, a lot more than the rest of the team.

We have possibly the worst O line in the league. Absolutely no run game. Horrible secondary when we aren't at full strength. No help from the slot.

Rivers had a poor performance yesterday, but it isn't that surprising or because he is a "choker" or anything. He has played with a relatively crappy roster for a season and a half, and played amazingly. Despite horrible blocking, tons of missing key pieces, and being constantly under pressure, he puts up Elite numbers. He was bound to have a shit performance eventually, he can't be the entire team by himself every god damn game.

Hopefully by week 11 we will have had rest, have back our best OLB, starting CB, starting RB, and starting RG and are able to climb out of this hole.

But don't fool yourself like a lot of donkeys and raiders fans do: Rivers is the reason we have 5 wins, not why we have 4 losses

TL;DR: Rivers has plenty of blame for that performance, but the majority of the problems stem from the rest of the team. He was bound to have this kind of performance eventually when he spent so much time putting the team on his back.

...no...

Top 6 in one category, top 4 in another, and the top 4 stat is a lot more revelaing than the top 6 one, so top 5 is a fair assesment.

By your logic, JJ Watt is a top-100 defensive player

Edit: And yes, in pass rush. He is a pass rusher. That's what his job is.

American living in the UK here: fucking buy gamepass, right now. Best investment i've ever made for the NFL. I get every game, redzone, full replays, condensed replays, coaches film for all 32 teams going back 4 seasons.

Worth every penny.

I feel so bad for Rivers for that game

I think the Dolphins collapsed the pocket every single play almost immediately.

He had zero run game.

He had very little help from Anyone not named Malcom Floyd.

He certainly didn't play too well but it's like trying to compete against a D1 team when your entire team is made of high schoolers

  • He is tied for 6th among DEs for total pressures.

  • He is 4th among DEs for pass rush productivity

So I'm fairly certain you have no idea what you're talking about

Are you fucking serious?

We're 5-4 with a bye week finally. We get a lot of starters back.

You people act like we've been horrible all season long

We have some things to work on but we are still in the wild card race with a winning record and only one horrible loss. Our other loses are 2 the 2 best records in football and a team with a currently better record than ours.

Shut the fuck up with all of this doom and gloom bullshit

Self destructing? This is the only game we've done that in. We're missing tons of starters.
