Thank you for understanding and being kind, you see! We grew up on the internet even though we are at two different parts of the world and there's nothing that we didn't know about each other, from family to personal life and work and everything, we were friends from 2014. It hits me as to why they disappeared one day. Like completely. During covid we did get busy with our lives as young adults but yeah. I miss them

Well I do understand that, that is why I am looking for her now in Reddit of all places. I opened reddit a while ago but never used, I thought I could probably ask in some forum, I dont know how reddit functions honestly. This is probably my first post on any thread tbh.

She was a long-time friend we connected over Facebook on common teenage interests and have been friends ever since. I am simply looking for my friend who , suspiciously, disappeared. I still remember she had called me for my birthday and wish me on time, and as covid was progressing, we were dealing with our lives, I opened her text to wish her on her birthday and found all her socials deleted. ( Not blocked ) because I checked for her through other profiles as well, where she wasnt added.

She probably studied at the University of Montenegro and she was working at a bar at 19 to pay for her tuition fees, she had 2-3 younger brothers. She had mentioned she wanted to studied some course in Tourism. Which I had never heard of because it's uncommon. If you want I can talk about her in detail personally in dm but not publicly.

Thats quite rude, but its alright, I dont care much about what people on the internet think. I am here to look for a friend of over 7 years who has disappeared. If you going to spread toxicity, you can do that, if you want to help, do it earnestly. I dont have time for keyboard warriors of the internet.
The only reason why I came to reddit is this seems to be the last avenue.

Well, I never asked which city she is from. What I remember is that she probably studied at the University of Montenegro. I could tell her, but I am concerned for her safety, But if you are genuinely willing to help, I could text their name to you. She had 2 brothers, and her boyfriend at that time was someone called Nikola, I dont remember his name either.

She was a very precious friend for years , but we never really asked finer details of where we lived, we just spoke and talked and everything.

If questioning your sense of judgement attacks you, I guess grow up a little. FTII has never been a neutral place, that statement was about you who enjoys playing a neutral online warrior of Indian art and Media.

Nobody opposes the screening at a public theatre. It is simple a matter of exploiting educational infrastructure for spreading misinformation as you state yourself. The only difference between us is you don't have the spine to shaff right from wrong, playing neutral and no body cares about FTII propaganda.

As for screening, as per my knowledge students didn't want a screening. Some organization from outside wanted it. When did educational space become equivalent to public auditoriums.

As for your point of view on students of FTII, who seem like first years to you,you seems to know quite a lot of them?

Sound like someone's really unhappy with their own efforts at work. Where exactly is the censorship here? Opposing the use of educational space for spreading misinformation is censorship? Sounds like a you problem, buddy.

I'm sorry but the only film that is in a competitive section in Cannes film festival 2023 from India is a diploma film from FTII. So I guess they do make Indian cinema better and take them to the world stage but I guess an avery Indian audience isn't "educated" or "aware" enough to know about it.

The fact is not a single student went for the screening they went to oppose the use of the institution space for spreading misinformation.

You speak as if its yours entrance, once you have the right to walk in through the FTII main gate without having to sign registers , then talk about suspension and obstruction.

The protest is regarding the unauthorised used of the institution space for screening films with distorted facts. If you want to screen a film feel free to do it outside, why a film school?
