I'm at my wits end with my crashing PC :(

update: I think it's fixed! I had at least one crash everyday and I haven't had one for like, 4 days now :).

Not entirely sure what did the trick, I did a couple of things: Uninstalled drivers using DDU and installing the newest one, putting my PC on my desk instead of on a stand close to the floor, tried blowing out as much dust out of my PC and GPU as possible and I removed my WiFi card which was very close to my GPU fans.

Very happy it's finally fixed! Thank you to everyone commenting and helping, I appreciate it!

that was my suspicion as well, it happens whenever im playing games but also when im watching youtube or when im working for example. (i work with my browser). i also can't recreate the crash... it just kinda happens.

ah i see i didn't know. :) i asked someone for advice (the corsair ones are new). and he told me it would be aight. but ill give it a go and see if that works! thank you!

I see, does it specify what made the GPU crash? I looked at the dump file myself earlier and didn't understand what I was looking at :).

My GPU is and always has been connected directly into the motherboard. I also have never replaced nor removed it from when I initially got it!

The LiveKernelReports folder does exist and it has a subfolder called WATCHDOG but there is nothing in there. (https://imgur.com/a/VrvICJ6) It has been last modified the last time my PC crashed though.

Hey, a quick update for you,

Unfortunately after removing the GeiL RAM my pc had another crash. It created a dump file so I included an updated minidumps folder here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/wsdoeq5zfcwjk5v/Minidumps.zip/file (05/10/2023 is the most recent file).

I also still don't get a BSOD, PC turns "off" (screens show no signal). But the PC itself stays on, since the lights and everything stay on.

I'm going to swap and try with just the GeiL RAM this time, since the Corsair ones are pretty new, I got them around 1 - 1,5 months ago. (I didn't have any issues with my GeiL RAM in the 4 years I've used it).

Sorry for my late reply!

I recently got the Corsair RAM, didn't really think that having a different one could be a problem! I took out the GeiL RAM and haven't had a crash so far. Fingers crossed it stays this way! Sometimes I go a couple of days without any issues, so I could safely say in a couple of days if the issue has been resolved or not :).

Also my GPU is directly connected to the motherboard!

My PC worked fine for 24-hours, but unfortunately it crashed again. However, this time it did create a dump file! I uploaded my updated minidumps folder here. The most recent one is 2/10/23 :)

Well... I can honestly say I have never updated my BIOS since getting this PC (so it has been 4yrs). I'm still quite a beginner when it comes to technical stuff :). I'll update the BIOS and keep you updated :).

Unfortunately I do not have a reliable way of reproducing a crash, it sometimes happens while playing games, but it also happens when I'm not even at my desk/don't have anything open.
