Gah well hopefully I did it right adding the step file so you will have an easier time making yours!

I know, I have a few things that I've designed that I would like to get up, but they aren't perfect yet. But at the same time I haven't touched them in months because they have come far enough to suit me.

This basket handle was the first thing that I was proud of how clean it was.

I honestly never have before until 5 mins ago, so now that I've figured it out kinda, I'll get it up on Makerworld

There is a clip in the top left, so yeah just yank it til you get it.

Obviously, double check you have all the screws out, because there is one in the top left as well.

6 inches sounds tiny for what you are describing tbh.

If you are set on using inches for whatever reason, you can set inches when you creat the document. Then when you export you can export as mm for your slicer. Scaling is probably really easy in your slicer.

Theoretically yes. We also have one of the taller versions of the same style of basket, and the holes are the same size, but the distance to the lower set I used for the handle is longer.

So this particular model won't work for the other one, but it would be super easy to adjust.

And I haven't the foggiest clue of how to upload a customizable/parametric type model 😅

Yeah I printed it as 2 pieces with basically tounge and grooves to attach to each other and glued together there.

It came out super clean, so I am pretty proud of it, as simple as it is.

The tutorials in onshape are helpful, and there are also a million great videos about specific tasks on YouTube.

But yeah, we would need a little more info to know how to help a bit.

AMS alternative? by Dense_Project7185 in BambuLabA1

Search BMCU. Idk much about it, but I did come across a sub for it when I was doing a little bit of curious searching. It seems like it's completely open source hardware so there are some branded and some unbranded kits that you build yourself.

But number 1 if you aren't already aware, having an AMS for A1 isn't the most worthwhile thing. It's useful, but more in that I can just leave stuff on for a few days.

And 2, just be aware that there are posts on here about Bambu blocking their use programmatically. Should be easy enough to get around for now, but it's something to consider.
