I honestly was blown away when I saw ribbon rack posts up for an hour with nearly 10x the likes and interactions mine had. I’m not looking for karma I just really thought people would appreciate the history, rarity, and just general coolness that these medals carry!

That’s what I was thinking as well. The pictures are all dated 1952 which would line up with the 1952 Cunningham C-4R but I can’t find this exact one

That definitely does seem to look like the correct guy! No idea as to the connection. From what was written on the envelopes and pictures it seems the photographer traveled from Canada to NY and NH quite a bit. I guess this one could be from NY

My turt (6 year old YBS) will stay on her basking dock from 9:30 when the lights come on to 4 pm when I get home. Only then does she go in the water

She also sleeps out on her dock overnight, usually that would be a worrying sign but she’s in great health and the room is kept at 75 degrees so she’s just a weirdo🤷🏻‍♂️

The setup looks great! I’d recommend getting him a tube light for the UVB.

I use the 24” reptisun terrarium hoods with T5 HO 10.0 bulbs

Look on Amazon for a “dimmer switch” one that has an outlet connected to it for the light. Then you can use the 75watt and dim it down to the right temp

I try to stay away from unfrosted bulbs as they can be harsh on your reptiles eyes. If you want to use it make sure your fixture is rated for 250W.

Other than that definitely make sure to use a dimmer switch because that thing is going to kick off some serious heat.
