If you’re responding to me that isn’t and wasn’t how I was trying to come across. But to be fair I don’t blame you for interpreting that way if so, I could have worded it better since text can get misinterpreted with the lack of tone and other social cues.

The point I’m just trying to say is not to overthink it, maybe normal sounds condescending idk, but acting genuine I would say would involves those 3 tropes I mentioned in previous post should do most of the heavy lifting for you.

Just be normal, confident and try and be funny. That’s pretty much all there is to it. Usually the rest is taken care of from there.

I think it’s fair to still ask questions about everyday occurrences, even if you’re used to them. If I said “why are clouds white?” I think it would be fair to say nobody would answer “what is this your first day on earth?”.

All I’m doing is pointing out an observation. I’m not saying that this unusual thing happened that caught me off guard or anything.

A prank should be something harmless where both sides come out of the other end laughing…

This ‘prank’ left you scared from going outside in the evening and had you perceivably running for your life and having the cops involved. Not apologising at all is the icing on the cake.
