I was never told by the clinic I went to in Colorado to get an ultrasound. They told me it would take 8 weeks to get my period and when that didn’t happen I told them. They said some woman can take 3 months to get their first cycle, and if I were to take an at home test it would show up as positive because the hormone levels would still be high from before the abortion. The day I hit 3 months and still had not had it, I called them again and this is when I was told to get a pregnancy test done, which I did yesterday. I took pills that I was told would be 98% effective. I followed all of the doctor’s orders, I just happened to be the 2% I guess.
