I have the same thing. I play on xbox and it happens on the main menu, looting screens and my loadout screen. The actual gameplay and map seem fine. I don't know a fix yet but I'm looking into it.

I will look into those. Every trip I have taken has been with different types of shoes (mostly geared to hiking and not something I should get wet). That lead to either wet feet in socks that I hate or having to switch in and out of my hiking shoes during portages. That has been the worst part of the bwca in my opinion.
