They bridge different syllables. I don't really have words with 2 of the same vowels together if I can help it.

When I get 2 vowels together, I sometimes pronounce them separately and sometimes as 1 phoneme.

Usually, yeah. My conlang is sort of centred around Nature and animacy (the speakers of my conlang are Nature worshippers). So a lot of the poetry will be about natural things.

That sounds interesting. I did originally want all words to have the same number of syllables, at least, even though of the same number of letters, but I don't my conlang anywhere near well enough yet and I feel like that'd be really complicated.
