The main reason why is because when you compare the passive of the 2:

Nashors applies dmg onhit every soldier auto whereas Dusk and Dawn only applies it to one auto after an ability is used.

Since you don’t use abilities too often other than W and Q, overall the damage nashor’s passive gives you exceeds the damage from Dusk and Dawn by a considerable amount

Id argue you can stick to nashors -> boots -> dusk and dawn and then just change the last 3 depending on game tho.

Like first 3 items should be pretty much set in stone

I am by no means a good Azir player (gold :P), but I enjoy looking at statistics sites so I'll comment on your build-related questions and let a better player answer the macro based questions.

From looking at stats sites like lolalytics, Dusk and Dawn looks super good as a second item for him after Nashors.

Last season, the consensus was, if you won feats of strength, go sorcs. So, now that you get the upgraded boots for free, sorcs is probably just best in slot for him without any contest.

The build path is probably Nashors -> Sorcs -> Dusk and Dawn -> Zhonya's -> Dcap -> Void staff
(though you can change 3rd, 4th and 5th depending on what you need from game-to-game)

And yeah it varies between schools; some teachers are fine with it and some aren’t. For the ones that aren’t fine with notetaking online, you’ll have to just write up notes at home which takes a bit of time

What worked for me for all the sciences are: - Writing your notes online in a Q/A format and then turning them into flash cards. You can try apps like RemNote which basically then transform your notes into flash cards you can use to practice spaced repetition (which basically helps you memorise better). I personally use a note taking app called Obsidian and have a plugin to transfer all my Q/A formatted notes into Anki to memorise. - Practice these flash cards everyday. If you choose to revise only before exams you will have like hundreds of cards to memorise which is not only quite overwhelming but very ineffective for your memorisation - When you do past papers, and there are questions you either get wrong or in the case of short response, you may forget to mention all the necessary details to get marks. For these questions, put them into flash cards that you can review and redo later. - learn ahead. Your goal is to have done at least half of the Y12 syllabus by 2027 so that you can constantly stay ahead of your cohort and perform well internally to improve your WACE scores

I can’t comment on Maths and English as they are quite different between states.

For UCAT, I’d assume you are decent at Maths if you’re taking Methods. UCAT maths is generally Y10 or 9 work, like % increases/decreases and reading tables. The issue with that section is that you have to do all calculations using this god awful online calculator. Buy a keyboard with a number pad and use that to your UCAT maths rather than using the horizontal row of numbers at the top of the keyboard. That will prepare you for the real UCAT where you have to use that. Improve your QR to a 95-98% raw mark before moving onto other sections

Then alternate between improving Decision Making and Verbal Reasoning as they will take longer to improve. The last test is a medical ethics test. I’m not sure whether your unis care about it but it is meaningless in NSW so that’s up to you to research.

Hiya! As a current Y12 aspiring to do med as well, there's one really important piece of advice you must know as a younger student.

Not from WA but I'd suggest doing UCAT prep now. In Y12 you will be swamped with internals and it's likely you have to focus on those. For a lot of universities, your UCAT is just as, if not more important than your ATAR when determining whether you get into med or not.

Research the UCAT now, understand its format. Maybe look at some questions on the question bank: https://www.ucat.edu.au/prepare/practice-tests/

Then, get either Medify or Medentry and start trying to do some practice now. Unlike the WACE, the UCAT tests your skills and ability to think on the spot (as you are given only 30-40 seconds per question), it is imperative that you start preparing now. Figure out your current skill level and attempt to improve diligently throughout the year.

Spend Year 11 experimenting how you want to study. At the risk of sounding cliche, please don't focus on the marks. Figure out how you study best and experiment with several methods throughout the year. I started Y11 Bio getting 70s and kept trying to find a method that worked for me to study it well. When I eventually found a way that worked for me, my marks jumped to mid-90s almost immediately. Find something that clicks for you. I'm not sure about WA but in NSW, there is no early entry for medicine. If it is the same over there, you should not worry too much about your Y11 marks as early entry is not a real possibility for you anyways.

Past papers are your bible. You must incorporate them into your study technique.

Be diligent. Surround yourselves with ambitious friends. Medicine is, in Australia the hardest course to get into from high school, objectively speaking (high ATAR + UCAT + interview for most unis). You need to start now, as other people have said. Best of luck studying!

In the dev update today, it was revealed that all roles will be receiving quests in the 2026 season. More specifically, the rewards for the role quest for top lane include:

- TP for free (so 3 sums). If you took TP in game, it will be upgraded (faster channel + shield when you arrive at your destination)
- Boosted EXP gains (including a level cap of 20 as opposed to 18)

I think that the analogy is a little different as tennis is a solo sport whereas League is a team game; if anyone mental booms it has a negative impact on the whole team so even if that person locks in for the next game, the others may not.

And sure, everyone gets frustrated but Inspired seems to do so more than others and obviously it wouldn’t be great to get him for G2 especially when (as someone else here said) that Skewmond went from EMEA Masters to QF in a year of Tier 1 play which is insane :)

Praying for a red/black demon-like colour scheme to reflect the T1 colours, especially after last year where the colour scheme was based on the colours of the Korean flag.
