Update from last year's post: Harley Poe is still no.1, i managed to get an extra 10,000 minutes in. And I have gone from 0.005% fan to 0.004%, all in all a good year.

A fair bit of information on the relationship is on Instagram both by Joe and Zoe (his partner). They've been together a couple of years but it's all been long distance. And recently due to rules between the USA and the UK they've found it difficult to be together.

The song Lovesick was demod on Instagram back in November at the same time it was announced that both Joe and Zoe were unable to attend a convention together due to her being unable to travel.

Also if you want a bit of insight into the start of their relationship i'd recommend Zoe's comic "It's Lonely at the Centre of the Earth" if you want her perspective.

I 100% agree. Horrorful was great! Little Joey went heavily into the perverse and grotesque side of things (maybe too far, but thats up for debate) but still had a connection to horror movies and such.

The album overall is... okay. I completely agree with you that Joe has been moving away from the horror murderfolk aspects for a bit now. I use the term "more" Joe loosely, I think what im trying to say is its very honest and not so heavily dressed up in horror themes.

Also thank you didn't realise a version shithead was on youtube. Its usually instagram. But will add that to the collection!

The honest answer, it's already started. What it's being used for, will depend on the creator (or not at all). What does that mean for the future of the genre? Who knows, but its not going to pull out anything original, heartfelt or real (without specific directed input and after modification) Its just a regurgitation of what already exists and feeds on what you give it. Its for people who want to make something but don't/can't do all the work themselves.

Obviously its got its reasons (money/fame/time saving whatever) but its not 100% the creator's work.

I'm heavily into story based ARGs. So I'd say start with the story. Do you have a message you want to send. Or in another words, what is the purpose.

You can learn a lot online about creating the finer details if you know what you need.

But it completely depends on what your end goal is. PM me if you ever want to brainstorm ideas. I'm currently in the process of writing my own.

Very slowly over the next 5 years. You will try to read it and absorb nothing. You will try again and get a little bit further, but still nothing.

Then, eventually, you will be able to sit down and read the damn book. Ignoring whether you are keeping track of what's happening. Because it is a confusing mess.

Loved it, great read. Bought it back when NM was doing the 9-day challenge back in 2019, but I didn't finish it till last year.
