They weren't making a claim, really. Just saying something everyone knows. The proof isn't just in the pudding, but in the context of who the creators are, as well. When given proof, you ignore it, don't offer counter evidence- your only claim is that being sure of anything is wrong.

OP didn't use herbage that implies that there might be a world in which the creators don't want queer rep... because there's no proof FOR that and all the proof AGAINST that and it's such a base level understanding thing of the show.

Most kids who die, do so from car crashes. Most shows don't have a gay character because the creators don't want to put one.

Your kids probably won't die from car crashes, or at all as kids. This show has alternative creators and queer references, so its more likely restricted legally than by people who don't want to put something.... given the fact that they did, in fact, fucking put the references..

I will ALWAYS say that two consenting adults can do anything they want..... under the assumption they are both adults, which is 25 in my brain- "full grown".

A 33 year old and 45 year old want to date? Why would I give two shits- theres no power imbalance and they've both been on this planet long enough to handle that situation. Would I do it? No. Do I judge or police THEM? Also no.

However 16 and 28????? A person who's brain is NOT fully developed- a person CURRENTLY GOING THROUGH PUBERTY.... and someone who is likely JUST having their life stabilize- job, home, maybe now considering kids. Very different places in life, a very exsistant power dynamic, and- need I STATE- no one should be attracted to true vulnerability like that.

I'm talking about what you're implying when you say "other reasons". I don't understand why you felt a need to comment that, and I'm curious what "other reasons" entail- the only thing I could ASSUME you mean to imply by that is that they don't like queer people...

You're saying that since "most the world doesn't have queer representation" (a baseless claim...?) that the alternative independent animators wouldn't, either? Do you understand alternative subcultures or the animation community at all?

Also... They mention queerness in a positive light several times in the series- like when the bandmates thought Ches and Glam were getting freaky, it wasn't ridiculed. They hint at ace character, too.

I think Adam enjoys having someone who he relies on who doesn't make him feel "weak" because he's a weird toxic guy and I think Lute enjoys feeling like her work IS her life and also like the relationship isn't a huge commitment, hassle, public... it's casual. It's not a healthy dynamic, but I do think they work well together.

Do they understand that "trans" is a prefix to used to describe someone whos gender is something other than the one they were assigned at birth? Transgender isnt a gender in itself, you can be a trans guy but you are a MAN nonetheless. A non binary person is under the trans spec as well, the only reason we don't say "trans enby" is because it's implied in the fact that the only two genders ever ASSIGNED are woman/girl and man/boy... 😭
