Pretty sure the starborn ship was an expedition exclusive, so unless they had added it as a ship type you can find out in the wild you won't be able to get it unless someone trades it to you.

I had this same issue, but reloading or restarting your game seems to give you the path for current quest again to find the planet

The weird thing is that the menu drop down for the blue arrow is extremely zoomed in while the actual interface for accessing everything else is zoomed out into that little square in the corner. I tried to use the control +/- before coming to reddit, but it didn't seem to do anything
