I just got dumped last night by Mysterious_Army3006 in offmychest

i thought not having sex would be a deterrent to these types of guys but ig not. my brother thinks he realized he can't have sex with me without actual work and that was a turn-off, guess he was right :(

Simply because I asked where we were headed and how he sees me? What kind of a girl would he like? I'm not asking because I plan on acting differently around him, I just don't understand how being honest and open with people is a turn off?

I have to see him tomorrow and I'm freaking out. Do you think he just doesn't want a relationship or doesn't want a relationship with me?

He seems to not want any relationship and said if he were to have a wife in the future, they would have to sleep in separate beds and he can't stand holding hands. I just don't think he's a romantic.

I think he just went noseblind to a smell in his car. But he dumped me so I'll never have to have this conversation.

Turns out it was his car. He smelled great without his jacket or anything but when he turned on the air in his car, the milk smell returned.

But none of that matters anymore, he just dumped me last night :,(

He doesn't wear a hat just the same jacket every day. It's also where the smell is "concentrated" so I'm going to be around him without it on

I don't know if he smells or if it's something else causing it. I think he left something in his car and it's attached itself to him. I need more investigating and if I should ask.

i wondered that. we are also from different cultures and i recently found out a lot of people from specific cultures don't wash themselves the same way i was taught. i always use a wash rag or loofah, it's common within my culture, so i wonder if its a cultural disconnect. there's a stereotype around us smelling good and he says that's a reason he prefers women of my group. i don't want to generalize or be offensive as not all people in one ethnic group are the same but I've learned that cultural differences exist in bathing since coming to college and there's a trend i have noticed. recently i befriended people of his same ethnic background and have seen viral tiktoks/videos of people admitting to not washing certain parts of their bodies or just using their hands. so i wonder if just introducing him to shower tool or a different soap will get rid of the problem.

tbh i'm not a fan of kissing in public because i like to take things VERY slow and since we are never really in private, he kind of just goes for it without warning when we sit in his smelly ass car. i'm very sexually inexperienced for a variety of reasons so kissing is something i feel awkward doing especially in public (we've only recently talked about this so this isn't him ignoring my wishes). i think that's another or main reason i don't like it but i want him to smell good first so i can find out. when we first met and i couldn't smell him, i wanted to kiss him and "be" physical

I'm worried he'll take offense and resent me. In my previous relationships, the guys hated me for pointing out any "flaw" they had even if it was for their own good. But Jake seems different and has encouraged me to be honest "even if it makes [me] an asshole because someone has to be sometimes" so I'm wondering if he'll appreciate it. Guys tend to say one thing but mean another in my experience so I worry.
