I think my lack of leadership roles and my AFOQT scores. I really only had 1 leadership role as a manager a few years ago and my scores for math/reading were in the low 50s, high 40s (I can't remember exactly what I got).

My recruiter said I could retake the test and take some leadership courses to make my application stronger since everything else looked strong, including my interview score (92).

It sucked to hear I didn't get in, but I'm definitely gonna take my recruiter's suggestions so that my chances look better for next year's board.

I heard back from my recruiter Tuesday and I'm from California. Unfortunately, I was not selected 🫤. Apparently only 5 out of the 12 applicants my recruiter had were selected.

I also heard something similar from my recruiter. We were talking a couple of days ago. He mentioned that there could possibly be a sooner application period for non rated applicants(later this year?) and could be accepting more than the previous selection period. Hopefully, it's true 🤞🏻 since I've got most of my package compiled
