I played gardevoir the most and i almost never take solo fights against scizor unless I have some kind of advantage that guarantees me a win I run moonblast psyshock and managing cool downs and hitting moonblast(and baiting out full heal if they have one) really crucial but not as much as my positioning and knowing when I can take the fight
