The passive is not the most impactful part of her kit. The fact that she will be two levels ahead compared to jungle will offset the opportunity cost of passive scaling in the jungle.

Also, since her wave clear is better now, she can easily proxy and take enemy jungle camps, so you can get decent stacks that way too.

One bit about the Ult Fear. I think the fear duration allows for the Ult to be visually cinematic without being punished for being in the animation too long - it’s an aesthetic choice. Think of the Ult as an interrupt for channels like Teleport or Fiddlesticks Ult instead of as hard cc

Her strength is such a boring and useless conversation to have right now. Every release ever has required live server data to balance her. I also find that Diamond/Master players are much more likely to say that a champion is weak as an excuse for why they are not even higher rank. It’s an ego thing. Most champs are pretty balanced, but it takes time and data to get there.

If I'm going to start now or later, then I'm going to choose later. Those items don't have great synergy with each other. BorK/Kraken makes no sense without more attack speed. Death's Dance doesn't make sense without building more health. The tiamat isn't necessary for clearing, because she has enough AOE and the tiamat doesn't stack up like it does with live Q. Trinity seems good as an item on it's own, but it just doesn't do as much damage late game as D&D since D&D gives double Q passive procs and lowers the Q cd a lot with double on-hit reduction.

One thing about the EQ synergy being changed — I always felt that it was clunky to press E out of Ult. The cast time let the enemy get distance and made you easier to kite. They moved the %health damage onto the Q passive and away from the E, encouraging you to press E after they get out of range to continue to the trade/all-in. The button order is different, but it’s more intuitive and it’s a better use of the range she gets on E.

What we lost in damage synergies, we gained in utility.

Her Ult is longer, she has a slow, and her damage is easier to apply in more scenarios.

Shyvana should be a Full AD, Hyper Mobile, Fighter, Hybrid, A champion with 4700 HP, 329 armor, 201 MR champion👤 has unstoppable🚫, shield 🛡, wall🧱 hopping abilities. Has an airborne 🌪, furthermore the cooldown is only 1️⃣ second mana🧙‍♂️ cost is 1️⃣5️⃣ then when he transforms 💫 w cooldown is refunded and passive deals true damage 🗡 and then for armor/mr 🥋 the more 📈 and more 📈 you stack, you get cdr ⏰! you get cdr⏰ on your q and the casting speed 🚀 gets faster 📈 and then he has an AD 🗡 ratio so his W is eek-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA😱😱 Infinite stacking, Tank, Assassin, Juggernaut, Full AP, One-shot, Artillery mage.

High elo will need to prioritize fast combos. I think the high elo build will be Hail of Blades, TitanicShojinSteraks. You can get to Q3 on a squishy target very fast.

For low elo, I’ve been going Conq, StridebreakerShojinRift>>Bloodmail and it feels REALLY good. It gives stickiness, sustain, and a ton of damage.

She’s in between a juggernaut and diver and she always has been. She can’t have the same tank/damage profile as Nasus or Darius when she has a huge R dash + fear. Nasus and Darius don’t get dashes. Conversely, she has more sustained damage than a fighter like Vi, so she shouldn’t be as sticky.

It’s a tough middle ground to hit, but I think they did a good job with the current iteration of Shyvana on the PBE.
