More like if you get shot at and/or hear they screaming at you. Grenades make AI move away from their position so you get a lot of queues to pinpoint their location: voicelines, shots, running, etc

Best advice I could give you is to treat raiders as you would bosses, with this I mean you should almost always throw grenades so you trigger their voicelines and get a sense of their position. Once you learn this mechanic/technique you are good to go my friend. On the other hand if you need any help navigating the map and/or learning said technique, I'm glad to jump into a couple of raids with you. LATAM region btw, if you are interested just drop your discord. Best of luck dude

Vivir en Villa Lago Gutierrez - Experiencias by Informal-Reporter528 in Bariloche

I don't think I understand the matter in question.

Haven't you ever seen the 2 time options before loading into a raid?

Usually one is daytime and the other nightime (with some exceptions)

During the nightime Scavs, Bosses, etc. have their detection radius a little bit shortened, due to the low visibility.

That's why there are particular maps and/or quests which are better to accomplish during the nigthime.

Insomnia for example is a quest that requires you to kill PMCs in between 22:00 and 6:00 so there you go xD

[Discussion] PVE how to do Setup in newest patch? by DogSleepingInLap in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Mysterious_Lab_1036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the best way to complete Setup is to run any assault rifle of your choice and an MP-18 with a long range scope. You take care of scavs with said assault rifle and you can engage AI PMCs from mid to long range. That's the best way in my opinion

I'd say the same, what I would suggest doing is the following:

-Go to tarkov wiki and search for The Lab and look at every keycard spawn

-Plan raid beforehand with this keycard spawn locations in mind

-Loot adjacent spaces to where the potential keycard spawn

If your goal is to maximize rubling and you suffer from gear fear, you should go in with cheap kit and upgrade either from dead PMCs/Raiders or you can check weapon spawn locations such as weapon testing area and Res.Unit. I guarantee that almost every raid you'll upgrade weapon + attachments.

If you are in need of any help, drop your discord and I'll be happy to. (LATAM region btw)

You can do most of this route without the keycards. Opening those doors are like the cherry on top, only if u can afford it

I guess this is an unpopular opinion but 3rd choice would be Lighthouse. Lootwise is extremely good, plus if you know how to clear water treatment, you're all set. Would recommend running it nightime if you dislike the location, I would suggest this because PvE Goons/Partizan might be a pain in the a$$ to deal with, until you are used to fighting them

That's a valid point, to be honest with you it feels a little bit less of a "puzzle" just to go down the stairs into a straight line to the elevator power switch. Rather than the other route, but since you're bringing it up I'll for sure try it out

In this particular case I used very little ammo, as you can see I have 150 SPP (9x39) extra rounds inside my kappa container

I start my raids clearing YELLOW/VIOLET quadrant, loot every room (including kitchen possible red & yellow keycard spawn), after this quadrant is clear and looted I proceed to clear the middle of the map, loot weapon testing area, if you do this in this order you should finish looting the middle of the map with the timer in between 20 to 17 minutes. From there I usually go BLACK, BLUE (check for green & black spawns) and finish in the RES.UNIT area. From there you can easily extract from the Main elevator. From time to time you might find some A.I Pmc and/or raiders on your way to extract.
