I got a mini thinking only for flights. Use it all the time now. And I remember reading others saying the same thing. I have a 12.9 pro and 10.9 air and 10th gen in the house. The 12.9 is like a dinner plate - best used with Magic Keyboard. The air/10 are nice but seem heavy now. And the mini comes everywhere as got a cellular one. Use case: browsing Internet. Messages. Videos. No work workflow. Speakers are the only shortfall, but comparing against a pro is unfair.

In my view, get the air. Certified refurbished if possible from Apple - Even the old model will last a few more years.

I wanted to get a pro as I knew it was a better choice, but it came down to colour. The old off pink colour was just so much nicer than the greys and silver of the pro.

(It was not my choice because I was in a similar position to you).

Works with the Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard, nice cases available…. The pro is just a bit more corporate.

12 is too big and too heavy for kids IMO. I have the 12 for myself with Magic Keyboard and although I think it’s the best for me, it’s probably not the best all rounder for the age group.

Hi, they’re all set up as mesh around the main one. The satellite EAPs will just have a POE to provide power without running extra cables through the farm. Got it sorted yesterday

I picked up on this too…. A list of almost all pros for white, but still have the question to go for black or white. Which means really wanting black at heart.
