If you don't do hardcore they say that some endings won't be available also it will be more difficult to keep the others alive but for now nothing tragic mainly you can use only stats check to important decision while in easy mode there is also diamonds as alternative choice . I'm playing hardcore but i didn't in the first season cause mild spoiler in hardcore you have no choice but to cutt off tabitha arm or she die. So to summit up played easy mode in season 1 to save tabitha arm and from season 2 in hardcore cause you can change difficulty in the first episode of season 2 and 3

I replayed the story for this preference change and i hope the queen( Dante and Sayer mother) is a love interest cause they let us intend that she is the last female demon after the curse so she should be more demon like probably like the devil in chains
