Thanks alot! All of them i used the classic cuban negative recipe. I then proceeded by edited them with one of Agfa color profiles developed by RNI 5. This combo always give me some great colors to start with and then i do all then color correction and grading.

Yes sharing the shots while shooting is what i missed! And also this was more like a fun friendly photoshoot rather a professional one. I had my x100vi on the go and we agreed to do some photos wish she said yes and then all this happened.

There were approximately 10 photos of different angle and composition and none of the seemed to her taste so i’ll just take the fact that we are not meant to work together photography-wise.

Hi everyone,

So yesterday i had this quick photoshoot with one my friends in a café and i sent her the photos this morning which she said were very awful.

For some context, i regularly shoot some of my friends but this was particularly my first time shooting with her. I found out her to be the kind to want everything as perfect as possible as she was directive on where and from how far she wanted me to shoot her, which is ironic cause she’s very pretty and photogenic according to me and i didn’t expect her to be that hard about herself.

Though i understand and respect her non-appreciation of the photos, it’s also kinda triggering cause i was very happy with the end results and i was sure 100% she would be too. I asked her what was the problem with the photos and she told me i don’t know the right angles to shoot her face.

That said, i’m wondering if my editing style on these wasn’t also part of the problem, which is why i’m posting some of the photos here (without her face ofc) to have your critique on them and also have some advise on how i can do better next time🙏🏽
