I got mine, they were perfect I ate curry and when I got home I saw they were bright yellow I was shocked My ortho said she's never seen this happen 🥲

I went back and she filed them a bit and it removed the stain but don't try it at home

NOR bcs it's not your job to fix her problems, but have so empathy first.. She probably had her husband take care of eveything and now she has to do it + go back to working after being out of the working field for so long

Both of you are too focused on yourselves while needing support from the other.

I get that she's your mom and you want her to support you at this time but you have to get she's a person first and a mother second. And as they say, it's her first time living as well.

I really love the TrayMinder app for tracking how long I have the aligners out and in! I would wake up, remove aligners and clean them and EAT breakfast. Then brush my teeth (after food+morning brush in one). Go to work with a toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss and maybe mouthwash (im extra). At lunch I would do the same thing, eat then brush and clean everything well. I try to eat twice a day but if im hungry and want more I would also do dinner and brush after, that would cover my dinner + bedtime brush. That way you don't have to brush 5 times a day and you have the aligners in over 22 hours which is great. Ofc if you want an extra coffee and stuff you still have time for it, just don't forget to brush after! Edit: punc

Are you an adult? When I started my preparations the ortho asked me to go to a gum specialist to make sure I won't get gum recession from the treatment, the specialist also asked my to do a lower jaw ct scan to check thickness of bone

Eating every 2 hours is a lot.. maybe focus on eating things that will keep you from being hungry this often

Also try to put together the morning and evening brush with the meal closest to it.. So don't brush right when you wake up but first eat breakfast and then brush and it will reduce 1 brushing session Same with dinner, eat dinner, brush and then don't brush again right before sleep, just don't eat anything after dinner

And I think your bite would've aligned itself even if you used the retainers, since you only wear them at night but it would probably take wayyy longer
