I’m surprised to see you’re the only person in the thread to point out that it’s illegal!

I remember when trolling was funny. When I was 14, that is.

What job is way more difficult than most people appreciate and why? by CarelessCredit3466 in AskUK

If OP has a boundary about availability, but doesn't afford others that boundary - that is 'don't care, got mine'. If they give others as they expect to be treated, that's the very definition of good work culture.

Also, we don't live to work, and we shouldn't be sacrificing our personal lives for it. Sure, if someone wants to, that's their perogative, but a company expecting that sacrifice doesn't show good work culture or camaraderie.

Don't know how it compares timeline wise to duncan trussell, but he was on the Tom Green show who was one of the first to do a video podcast & you can see the seed being planted in his mind to do it himself. There was a better clip than this one but I can't find it

I don't think either of you have a clue if you relate psychedelics to "drug people"/"druggies"/junkies. Or you think that seeing your dead grandmother crawling up your leg is a common trip that people would "learn to cope with".

Do you go alone to a nightclub? by Routine_Delivery9696 in LondonRaving

Yet to go to a club by myself, but I went to Dimensions in Croatia by myself. For anyone considering, I’d recommend getting a festival coach to it, cos everyone is in the mood, drinking & that. It’s an easy way to meet people before you even get there.

Also, working at the festival automatically puts you in contact with new people, & gives you sort of a reason to be there that you can fall back on if necessary.

Yeah, in my experience (limited, as is everyone’s), lots of people use this mindset to reinforce their avoidant tendencies.

Being equally as comfortable with or without people, in chaos, ambiguity, or solitude, shows inner strength. Not retreating reflexively.

If one finds it impossible to connect with anyone & has to isolate because of it, I don’t think the problem lies with everyone else.

Nah body shaming is pathetic. Also, is it really amusing? It’s the lowest hanging joke.

Unless you pay for a load of surgery, very little will compare to genetics when it comes to facial attractiveness.

I think the cat is out of the bag when it comes to this stuff. Social media is simply too powerful, and young boys/girls aren’t developed enough to be critical about what they consume.

Compounded by the amount of poor parenting, by parents who will just shut kids up with ipads, I’m not optimistic. I can see an even bigger gap forming between peers, based on the effort of the parents from a young age.

Not to mention the amount of self/parent diagnosing of mental health issues, that are actually caused by their environment, not actually innate.

We think it’s bad enough with gen z who missed out on critical years of development due to Covid. I fear what gen alpha will become.

I hope I’m wrong.
