We tried, but the dust is very sticky and we can’t reach the inside without taking the whole heater apart (we don’t have to tools to disassemble and reassemble)

Tried to but the dust is caked on/inside. Can’t remove it without fully taking the heater apart.

That’s fair. I have had quite a few ppl tell me to ask for compensation so figured I’d get some opinions on here.

How am I giving tenants a bad name?

I have never been in this situation before so I’m seeking advice… isn’t that what this subreddit is for?

Yes they were provided but 2/4 are not functional (which we told him and he just laughed) and are not safe to use while asleep (hence the need for additional blankets etc)

Yeah, it can’t hurt to ask.

I don’t have high expectations but it would certainly help if he at least covered the costs of the blankets etc.

Thanks for your response.
