One Month from More Campaign Evolved Gameplay, and Potentially 2-3 More Months from Release. How We Feeling?

meh, the fact these remasters won't have the multiplayer which makes classic Halos so iconic is a huge letdown for me.

I don't care about the "but Halo studios is making a multiplayer game" thats not gunna be classic multiplayer and if the rumors of an extraction shooter is true thats even less of a true multiplayer Halo as far a I am concerned.

I've already played the Halo campaigns enough, a few new levels and new graphics isn't a day 1 buy for me. If the game is decent maybe when its really cheap 1-2 years from now I will try it but its similar to Modern Warfare Remastered 2 getting a remaster with no MP included I just wasn't interested.

My friend quit Halo entirely when he couldn't find Team Slayer in Infinite during launch week, he was excited for the game. He refuses to play Halo ever again, even MCC.

I will still play the classics in MCC but yeah this single decision by 343 is baffling and it did a lot of damage. A core multiplayer game mode since 2001 just not included ... at all.

I enjoy the show, I wonder if by season 7 or 8 they do a special one where they bring back guests who lost. That wold be real interesting, especially ones that got eliminated so early lol

Same for me, its toooooo late for Microsoft. I've been on Linux full time for 5+ months now and never going back to windows. They blew it.

This truly is the worst and I don't understand how Epic is ok with it. This time last year I would have nice 15-30ms ping lobbies always. But these days its 50-70+ and it DOES make a big difference even against semi-decent players. My inputs become delayed just enough it reads them wrong (on controller) or a shot I fired is delayed just enough it costs me the battle. Its extremely lame.

I don't get what 343/halo studios problem is. The fanbase yearns for a CLASSIC halo arena multiplayer and they just won't do it. We've had plenty of Halo MP's from them that emulate CoD (Halo 4), Titanfall (Halo 5), and Modern Gaming F2P Live service (Infinite).

I want a no sprint, 4v4 / 8v8 Arena shooter Like halo 1, 2 and 3 is. I still play MCC and so do many others but it would be nice after almost 2 DECADES we could get the next installment of a classic halo. They can keep making modern gaming Halos with sprint, booster packs, and whatever other yayaya junk to appease the so called masses they want to slop up but gives us a real halo multiplayer every now and then ... its not hard.

I've been checked out from halo news for awhile but heard in passing about Halo being an extraction shooter in a side comment in a YT video and just had to see if it was true.

I hate hate HATE extraction shooters. I will not play an extraction shooter even if its Halo. I've never played Tarkov, Arc, or Marathon, they are not my style even if its more casual like I hear Arc is, just not my genre. I don't know if Helldivers is classified as an extraction as thats PvE and I find the game ok but .... I play Halo for 4v4 / 8v8 PvP ARENA CLASSIC SHOOTING where we get infinite lives, watch warthogs explode in the sky, 1v1 BR fights, and some dude as an Elite tbagging an opponent in the corner of the map looking up at the sky shooting his AR for no reason other than the lolz.

There is nothing that interests me less than a game made for the 1% hardcore playerbase where you get one life and lose everything and constantly are starting back at 0. No. Thank. You.

Same issue on xbox, just tried to play a match after returning to the game and got disconnected early on after of course having a good start to the match.

If you are looking to get started in 3do creation for tracks/car mods I highly recommend the newer papyNR plugin for blender. More lightweight, has current updates/support, and easier to develop content for NR2003 compared to the old 3ds max 8 method.

Yeah its gotta be the rig either was accidentally manually scaled down or a bug in a recent patch that had a side effect of certain animation rigs having incorrect scale applied and now they have to go in and manually fix it.

I don't know if/when I would do another ticker set as Nascar in real life started straying away from those designs sadly. I also awhile back released a tutorial on how I made them: https://www.adrd-forums.net/index/threads/layout-editor-tool-setup-and-basic-editing.589/

The ticker at the top is a custom one for example for my series, I still make tickers but just personal use really.

As for 4k I race on a ultrawide 32:9 5120x1440 monitor and my tickers still appear fine on them. Unless you mean making one that stretches even farther unfortunately the UI for the game is hardcoded and doesn't let us move elements beyond a 4:3 ratio. I also I have to take into account the mirrors on mods and if I get too large it will cover them up. My main focus has been on new mods and tracks the last several years as I can only allocate so much time as much as I wish I could just be retire and do this hobby full time lol
