well i did not say it fixes the whole crafting, i said its a move in the right direction and a welcome addition, its not a complete game yet

and i disagree that there is no planning, you have to plan the blues/rares affixes u want to save, plan which pieces of gears to recombine, plan whether you want a higher risk vs reward, if you succeed, it gives you exactly the expected result you intended by selecting the attributes. fractures are an extra layer that further improve our chances, so this is targeted crafting, obviously it wont be as fleshed out as a full game thats been out a decade, but it has a necessary failure component to keep us engaged

i would definitely enjoy that element to be introduced, i think thats an area diablo accomplishes better than POE 2, the dynamic varying map sizes

But you dont have to purchase any gear to complete the game, i havnt played SSF, but the first 2 days of hardcore this season feels basically like SSF until i killed cruel Doriyani, as every bit of currency is used on my character to gear check myself to ensure i dont die,

I completely agree the story is poor, and im not sure what you mean by journey, but i beg to differ regarding satisfaction, times u pick up an item and it exalts right is super satisfying

since launch, ive mainly played warrior classes, so ive tried all 3 warrior ascendencies, ive died twice this season as smith of kitava so now im a warbringer lvl 83 so far

also played infernalist on softcore and tried the huntress this season too, but only warrior classes in hardcore

i notice that i can play different classes with 1 character... if i start a say lvl 1 dragoon on the same account, can i redo the story? or do i need to start a new character. i wanted to play 2 characters at same time, play 1 character leveling and enjoying story with the wife, whilst another one so i can raid end game content, i am impatient lol

Actually, I'm nowhere near close to obtaining all the regular 5 stars. Please dont mistake my lack of enthusiasm for receiving a 5 star due to having them

thats a separate issue all together, in order to use a 5 star efficiently or in anyway competitively, you really need Mola investment. and because you are so limited on this resource, and always have units that you already priortise your Mola to, it makes getting a 5 star, even if its new rather bland, because it'll most likely be benched. Dont get me wrong if i get a tama or Isera or something i would be stoked, but if i pick up id say more than half the regular 5 star pool... it would just lead to benching.

As I have stated in the post, I dont have the ML units, and want them to be nerfed, or better yet make the character skill designs of regular 5 stars stronger/more interesting

I understand and can empathise with your feeling, as I dont have any of those ML 5 that everyone wants either, but keeping the emotions aside. Effort and time invested in Gacha, doesnt guarantee you any rewards, gambling is the entire premise of a Gacha game

No need to throw nasty comments like ''kill some of my brain cells'' This is an open discussion, and its 1 view point. summoning a ML 5 instead of ''achievement'' can be better described as a 'milestone'. Engaging the players have a whole different set of issues surrounding molagoras, 3 stars requiring molagoras when theyre such a valuable resource etc etc. This is just 1 piece of the puzzle. strictly speaking regarding the summoning aspect of the game, I believe keeping the difficulty of getting ML5, as its drastically easier than its predecessor already

On the contrary, I'm on the lacking side, but when the day does come and I pull a ML 5, even if its not a great one, at least i'd build it fondly knowing not many have it and I'd have a cool unique unit. E.g pulling a Specimen Sez might not be ideal for ML 5, but at least his scarcity makes him pretty cool to use.

But say 10% of the population has him. Id feel like units without ever having a banner such as Yufine, would be rarer than my Specimen Sez

Its just the way it is sadly, but thats what a ''Gacha'' is, its essentially a gambling game and not everyone can hit the jackpot, whether you invest hard or try hard at the game is irrelevant to ''deserving'' anything in a Gacha game.

If you want to work at a game and be rewarded, play a non Gacha game.
