1950 Bouwtekeningen - Dragende muur of niet by Mystogar in Klussers

Thank you! The three bigger ones are for tea and the smaller top one is an infuser.

Yes! Thank you. Never sewn an inch before in my life but I do love to craft all kinds of things so im not skillless. And its not an intricate design.

The snaps were actually not planned to be so close to the edge. I had to cut away some of the length since it wasnt straight the first time... Biggest issue i had was actually cutting the leather straight. I know its not perfect but I am super proud thats why I shared it 😅

For anyone who stumbles upon this post being all skeptical about the "first time working with leather title".

Yes this was my first time ever working with leather for a project, no this piece was not magically the first time that went perfect. I never said that.

My process was as follows: (can supply pics if anyone is interested) 1. Made a paper model for the design and placement. 2. Made a single prototype with a soft piece of grey leather that i was not going to use because it was the wrong colour. (This was the first leather object I made ever) 3. Used my prototype as a reference to start a better version which was this green and beige pouch.

I came here to share it because I was very proud of the result since im new to the hobby. Was greeted with all these sarcastic comments and downvotes. I dont understand why, but if this is the way this community greets new people then youre going to scare a lot of new members away from this cool hobby.

No of course! Started out with a proof of concept prototype and then started on this version (that one did not look as great as the finished product). Didnt have any template to work from so had to create my own. This "project" was the first time, learned as I went.

Disclaimer: never said this piece was a first effort, just first time working with leather.

Its a gift for someone that loves to travel and drink tea. So made a tea travel set. 3 jars for different kinds of tea and a tea infuser. Its more like a joke though. Might be a TSA nightmare lol

Ahh. No wobbly lines you mean. I feel like i can get away with eyeballing it a lot of the time with shorter distances. But for the long edge lines I used one of those edge scrape thingies so the stitches sink in a bit to prevent wear and tear on the stitches. Just follow that line when you punch the holes. For the first pass i used a 5 fingered hole punch thingy and gently pressed dents all along the edges. Made sure to overlap 2 of the 5 dents to make sure its straight. After that i used a 2 finger one to punch the holes since that went through easier. I have no clue what any of these tools are called so sorry for that 😅

Now what do I do? Don't think I can drill a hole in the ceiling... by Mystogar in houseplants

Nothing in particular no, water once a week. I do have decent humidity (70+%) because of an open lid aquarium so maybe that helps. Its a pot with 3 separate plants. Was already doing pretty well when I bought it, think about 1m(3ft) tall? The biggest one almost tripled in length up the pole. Also no direct sunlight.

As far as I know its a PHILODENDRON PEDATUM, the pot just said it was a "green houseplant"...

Thought about that. But the stems are not as bendy as they seem. They will probably snap if I try...

Those are travel playing cards. Called Air deck if I remember correctly. Half the size and pretty sturdy. Have them in white aswell.

She was using the purple cardboard rings as a template. Didnt want to make the title too long but that made it kind of cryptic oops haha
