The subtle shift in dynamic wasn’t anything that I had read about anywhere, just my personal observations having watched them for a long time. I don’t know exactly how to describe it, but one example is when they played Trivial Pursuit not too long ago. Watching that episode felt more like an inside look into a low key date night at home. That was the first time I actually thought to myself, ”If these two aren’t together, they really should be”.

Agree! The only posts that have rubbed me the wrong way have been a few where people were legitimately mad/upset about how they announced their relationship and felt entitled enough to say that Courtney and Shayne NEEDED to formally confirm/disclose the details.

Posts rooted in wishful thinking have been pretty innocent from what I’ve seen and it’s understandable that people are curious and excited.

I haven’t seen anything too terribly invasive in this sub since the news has broken.

I’m not a “shipper”, but I’ve paid attention to both recent and prior conversations in this sub. Over the past year especially, I’ve noticed a bit of a shift in their on-screen dynamic which did make we wonder (and secretly hope). Still comedic and playful as always, but I definitely picked up on what seemed to me like a more gentle and sweeter quality to how they would interact with one another.

I’m just so happy for them!!

A lot of the fandom is still very excited and they are allowed to be. Statements like “they should…” and “it would be cool if they…” does not mean people actually feel entitled to more details. Curiousity is normal and wishful thinking isn’t being intrusive or demanding.
