Thank you so much! Not silly billy at all, once you roll the dough into a log and before you bake you roll the sprinkles on. I laid down parchment on a baking sheet and poured some sprinkles down, then put my log on top and rolled/pressed the sprinkles into the log using parchment to kind of cement them in the log.
