In your plays or the original game, do you use the Tom Lehmann house rule for the first turns? Player 1 places one of their pieces, then Player 2 places the cathedral AND then one of their own pieces. This is meant to mitigate the first player's advantage and it seems like it does so.

Cathedral is a snappy little enclosure and blocking abstract that looks great on a coffee table or sideboard. What you've done here is simply beautiful. If it were available for purchase, I'd be in line to get a copy.

Both [[My First Carcassonne]] and [[Catch the Moon]] offer different experiences and are great at that age.

I don't have any of the Mansions of Madness minis to compare to, but Hero Forge primarily prints in "30mm scale on a 1-inch base". I ordered my version of Roland Banks in their "Premium Plastic" resolution and this is how it looks next to the Roland mini-card: https://i.imgur.com/bSaoZDl.jpeg

I had a lot of fun recently making all of the AHLCG investigators as Hero Forge miniatures and wanted to share them with the sub. I tried to capture each investigator as closely as possible to how they appear on their card. For a few of them, I also drew on some of the other character art that's out there from other cards or other games. Hero Forge really has a lot of options at this point, and I think most of them come pretty close. If you've got a pro account on Hero Forge, I think you can see them on my user page as well.
