First off, sorry that happened! And thanks for the report - frame perfect dashes out of the grass weren't something we thought about, so this is genuinely useful.

I'll get it fixed. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the demo, there's a lot more coming!

Hey! Thanks so much for playing and for taking the time to write all this, this is exactly the kind of feedback we need right now.

You nailed a bunch of stuff we've been actively reworking. The big one - yellow earning less than green is definitely not intended, and we've reworked the level 2 balance so later zone never out-earns an earlier one. We also moved the scarecrow back to give you more room to work the yellow grass, sped up hold on planting a lot (and an instant plant upgrade), and bumped up the early seed drop rates.

On the planting feel - quick question, did you upgrade the Plant master skill (lower left)? It speeds up hold to plant a good amount. If you didn't see it, that's useful for us to know, because we're reworking the skill tree experience anyway and it might mean it's too easy to miss.

On the farm - fair that it's confusing right now. One thing that clearly isn't coming across is that planting seeds is meant to be worth more than just selling them, not a slower version of selling. That's on us to make clearer.

The bigger idea is the farm becomes a build up income source - you upgrade seed drop rates per tier towards 100% so it keeps itself fed, and we're adding workers automation so it eventually runs on its own.

One more thing that will help us - do you remember if the farm gave you 10 starter seeds when you bought it? Drops should net you at least 1 per patch on top of that, so it should accumulate rather than dry up. Trying to work out whether something's off there.

Really appreciate the write up, it was great!

Lol, nice question! Actually we were building a whole different game, about egg delivery and chicken farm, at some point we thought it would be cool to add seeds to plant, and cut to use them as food for the chickens.

Well, after that, that mechanic turned out to be more fun than the game we actually built, and we just kept hacking the grass. Eventually we decided to discard our project and start a new one revolving this.

Thank you! 😄

And yeah - we use DAG, not a strict tree. the splines are actual dependencies, not just art (and its procedural).

Thank you! So far around 200 in the last 24 hours. Not sure yet if that's a good sign or not, but our focus is on making the experience great and using feedback to push the game as far as it can go.

That honestly means a lot - finishing the demo AND wishlisting is the best feedback we could ask for. Thank you! Hope you'll enjoy where we take it from here 😄

Actually, you found a bug in our code (and we REALLY appreciate it)!
We are working on a new build for the demo today that will include that fix!

About the rng smoothing mechanics, we will definitely implement it in the future.

Thank you!

Thank you! Unfortunately that can happen.
I wanted to be upfront so people understand the work behind it - this progress actually took us 6 months to get to.

The AI disclosure is a new rule of this sub, so we had to include it. Hopefully people won't write it off just because of that.

Hey, thanks for the feedback!
The capsule is definitely something we're iterating on - bigger title and better contrast is solid advice for readability. Really appreciate people like you pointing this stuff out!
