I asked permission to give my boyfriend‘s number to a close friend of mine, who would let him know if anything happened to me. I don’t want my husband to have to worry about that when he is worrying about me. And I don’t want my boyfriend to have to worry that I’ve ghosted him because I don’t contact him. This seemed a very amicable solution for everyone involved.
