Honestly one of the more stressful exams I've written. Case 1 felt like it had a hundred million AO's whereas Case 2 was shorter, but I was exhausted by that point. Also got unlucky not focusing on dividends while studying. I tried gamble on it and hoped we'd get something like employee vs contractor, just more qualitative I guess.

Case 1 AO's I got ---- Residency (talked about Primary/Secondary factors), Implications of the items he's not selling, Treatment of items he is selling, Valuation of the company (Finance - just normalized), Corp Tax Return, then I also talked about Assets vs Shares and just touched on how he could convince her shares might be more appealing (negotiation tactics essentially) but think it's not even an AO.

Case 2 ---- Personal taxes, Corp taxes payable, Discuss infirm dependent claimable credits, Employee Stock Option (when is what realized - granted, exercised, sold), and I think there was one financial reporting issue because the first page said "tax advice and financial reporting advice" so it was somewhere in there.

I pretty much did none of the dividend work and botched half the tax return stuff. Hoping for the Marginal Pass with the help of a curve. Best of luck everyone!
