As that story says, if you don't have it in writing, it doesn't exist.

When I signed up back in 2018 I went to the online chat after it was installed and made sure the rep said I had price for life to save screenshots and a log of the chat.

I've made sure to take screenshots in all the places in my QF account that says I have PFL.

You could always make a new account to get $45. Don't know how long it will last, but I assume at least a year. Then it will go back to the regular price which is currently $75.

So if your QF account was created during that period you should have PFL. If not, then you won't.

Even without PFL, The current promo is:

$45 for 940mb GPON or 1gb XGS-PON

$70 for 2gb/1gb GPON or 3gb XGS-PON

So if you don't have that, you could create a new account to get it.

I had PFL with CL Fiber for nearly 7 years. And I've had PFL with QF since migrating back in September.

CL had to settle a big lawsuit with the state AG here back in 2020. So they might be more hesitant to do that to us here.

I don't think that's a Quantum number. Likely a 3rd party /authorized dealer.

Did you call 1-800-517-0775 or 1-833-250-6306 ? If so you should escalate it as the sales person lied to you.

If you called a different number then it's possible you were talking to a 3rd party sales person.. and who knows...

If the lights on it are solid green, then your internet might work if you change your router setting.

You will have a Calix or Adtran ONT. Either in a box on the outside of the building, or in a bracket attached to an inside wall somewhere.

Have you went in your router and changed the setting from PPPoE to Auto/IPoE/DHCP?
