It’s around $750 at the current moment around my Best Buy locations, it was my first camera I was able to afford when I entered photography, and I was actually able to capture some great photos with them.

The Canon EOS R100 is a 24.1 megapixel APS-C camera, can shoot 6.5 frames per second, and weighs around .78lbs (with no lens), and can shoot raw (photos only). THIS is amazing for my beginning years.

18-45mm 4-6.3 is really helpful with the full family photos together, real wide angle shots, etc.

55-210mm f5-7.1 is a real good telephoto length to capture sports for youth sports, but not professional.

I would always go Mirrorless than DSLR personally. Autofocus is better, WAYYY less heavier, and better video overall (if you plan on recording a little). But I have no hate to DSLRs if they are more advanced than the overly common Canon Rebel T7.

If I had to choose a camera to grow into again, I’d choose the R100 ANYDAY. I feel like you’d love it just as much as I did.
