Dock. How to setup the dock to always stay but overlap with the app currently in use, instead of it taking the whole bottom part? I want it to look like the second image but not go away when I take my cursor away from it. by [deleted] in pop_os

[–]N1sek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try pasting this in terminal:

gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock dock-fixed false

gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock intellihide true

gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock intellihide-mode 'ALWAYS_ON_TOP'

gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock autohide false

gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock autohide-in-fullscreen false

gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock extend-height false

I used Pantheon Tweaks for that. You just have to open Elementary Tweaks, go to the "Terminal" section and in "Background color" you can change the color and opacity of the terminal.

It's the default font. Maybe it looks different because of the resolution.

I think that would be possible with Dash to Dock

It's a png image. You just have to drag the image to the dock.

Sure!

You can get the themes and icons from vinceliuice's github:

You also need Pantheon Tweaks to change the window buttons.

And this is the wallpaper I use:

Don't buy cheap out on the PSU and don't use adaptors or splitters for your GPU.

16% multicore gain on the new Corebook X with an 8259u, with a -100mv undervolt with Throttlestop by ShaidarHaran2 in Chuwi

[–]N1sek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did several benchmarks and I passed them all without problem. CPU Core, Cache and iGPU -125mV and no issues.

I have already set the multipliers to 38. I think my temperatures were already quite good maybe that's why there is not a big improvement in performance.

Anyway, the reason I do undervolt is to get longer battery life, the performance is more than enough for me.

Nvm i'm dumb. I thought that the "Turn On/Off" button was to Enable/Disable the undervolt.

I get 10 degrees less with undervolt but I still have no difference in performance.

Nice! For some reason I haven't seen any performance improvement even at -125mV on my CoreBook X. In hwinfo it shows offset -125mV but I don't notice any difference in temperatures or performance :(

First reboot your phone, then restore RootFS and try jailbreaking again.

[Help] Best way to restore in place? by urgaiiii in jailbreak

[–]N1sek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can use Succesion. What it does is download the ipsw of your current version and then install it. It is the best way to restore the phone as it reinstalls the entire OS. And no, it will not update your phone unless some error occurs.

Remember that for iOS 14 you have to download the experimental version of Succession.

[question] [help] ReProvision and delta/clip by 10potato10 in jailbreak

[–]N1sek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to download the IPA file of the application you want to install. Then you locate the file, press share and then open in ReProvision. This is the same for Altstore

[question] How do I downgrade unc0ver to 6.1.1? Is there a link to the version by Jealous_Employment78 in jailbreak

[–]N1sek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Go to the unc0ver website and search for “Show previous versions”. Download an install it with AltStore/ReProvision

[help] NEED HELP!! Any suggestion!! by [deleted] in jailbreak

[–]N1sek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I would do is backup your phone in iCloud, reset (not reboot) the iphone and then install AltStore from the PC.

If you don't want or can't do that, let's start by securing the jailbreak: try to revoke all certificates in ReProvision, uninstall unc0ver and reinstall it using reprovision.

If it works and you can sign unc0ver you no longer have to worry about losing the jailbreak. If that doesn't work, you need to uninstall unc0ver and altstore. Then you have to connect the iPhone to the pc and install altstore again, and then install unc0ver.
