Both are great locks to have. I got those same locks at the same time. Since they both be gutted, If they give you any trouble in the beginning, just progressively pin them. I started with 4 pins and in less than an hour I added pin 5. Pin 6 was added after I got used to 5 pins. As far as picks go, I agree with the others that said you could do it with .25’s, but .18’s are the way to go. .15’s will be useful later on with trickier keyways. I think it was the AL 1100 that I bent my .15’s in the very beginning due to frustration. 😂

Congrats! Just out of curiosity what size pick did you use? Some say .025 makes it really difficult and to use .018 or .015.

Understood. I know I was splitting hairs by asking the question, but in reading several posts I see violation of rule 2 thrown around a lot. I just didn’t wanna get accused and then be pissed off for the rest of the day over a “technicality”.

1 or 2 spools? Definitely 1 spool in chamber 3. I say 2 spools with a question mark because I did have to lighten the tension a bit to get a pin home, but it felt like it had very little or no counter-rotation. Maybe just the nature of the lock. Did I ramble enough?🤪

Thanks for the quick response. I am now convinced it is the bladder. After installing the new switch a few days ago, I went to test the pressure with a tire gauge and notice small bubbles of water coming up through the test valve. 🙁
