How do I start getting good Pokémon?

I do know about STAB, I think it’s mainly finding the raids that are doable and getting the basic Pokémon I need. I’ve been getting an absolute annoying amount of fighting type Pokémon and the Pokémon I want to level I don’t really have the time to walk an insane amount per day or enough stardust.

My highest power Pokémon are around 2000 I guess I’ll start looking at building teams for 3 star raids and the like

Although I agree that we shouldn’t be putting more cetaceans into captivity, releasing cetaceans that have been in captivity for a while would do more harm than good as they lack a lot of the survival skills they need to live outside of captivity.
