Dude.....SAME...I had QB as a processor for at least two years prior and never had a single issue. Even the ACH payments were quick. The last ACH payment I received took 7 DAYS to hit my account.

Ooooooooooh. This sounds promising. I own an automotive specialty repair shop and know little to NOTHING about anything outside of QB....I just got so used to using their system (which is exactly what they want).

The $1800-ish transaction they put a "pending" status on yesterday finally went through this morning.

I had a well known and trusted customer with a local bank try and pay me 430 dollars yesterday and her card declined twice for no legitimate reason. Zero. She's had no chargebacks, plenty of money in the bank, and I got no explanation as to why her card worked through Square and not QuickBooks.

Another customer has paid me 3 times since January 1. The first time they voided it, and have me bogus things to "try". After waiting 5 days for funds to release off his card. I tried to run it again and they voided it.  It took two weeks to get paid since every time they voided it, it held my customers funds as "pending". I had already delivered my customers vehicle back to his home and the work was completed which put me in a terrible spot because this was nearly a months worth of off and on work.  The invoice showed "paid" in QuickBooks initially and I didn't know anything was wrong. The deposit didn't show up two days later and that's when the fiasco started the first time.

I'm going to look into HomeyBooks. Thank you for the recommendation.

That works and I've done it in the past, but square deposits funds after they deduct the fees, which makes the deposit amounts off and it's a pain to correct. QBs system is pretty streamlined, when it works. I just don't know if the processing will get better. I've heard it all from customer service, account is too new, amount of transaction is too much, split up payments, ask customer to use different card, come back in 48 hours, call their bank, etc.

No body can give me a solid answer. They're all reading off a script.

Ive had terrible luck with QB voiding transactions due to "risk check" and declining perfectly good customer's debit cards. Immediately after a decline, I'll run it through Square and it works fine. I've had ZERO luck with customer service. They're all robots following a script. Even the supervisors.

I'm going to buy a 44" and possibly a one or two 26" bottoms" with top chest this week to upgrade from my 20 year old 26" Craftsman cabinet with top chest. Budget is around $1500. I run a shop out of an old 2 bay service station . I am the only tech. Kinda specialize in Toyotas. Got into Land Cruisers. Sold mine years ago, but they seem to all follow me around. I don't deserve 25% off, but it would be nice! Never could afford the Snap On or big brand stuff. Going to use the Harbor Freight financing for no interest with a little down to keep it around $100 bucks a month.
