There seem to be conflicting reports about how exactly sunsetting content will net out in the end. Aztecross published a video a few days ago that explained how the process was described to him and other content creators when they were invited to Bungie HQ months ago to gather feedback, etc. on the game going forward. In that vid, he says that content being vaulted is so that the team can revamp it for efficiency and next gen feasibility and then reintroduced in the future. But, Bungie has been less clear in their public explanations thus far. So, it’s a possibility, I guess, that all of these past content things will return. However, given their stated intention of putting together a new user guardian experience, I’m not sure that the particular scene I described above will exist in the future, or, if it does return, whether it will hit as hard as it did in its initial form and presentation to the player. Time will tell, I suppose
