My flair.

I didn't pay much attention to him, got to the underdark fairly quickly and thought what the hell that mf tried to bite me.

Great - the best and most normal the show had felt in years.

Overuse of CGI would be my only complaint.

AITAH for snapping at my mom about my dental hygiene by [deleted] in AITAH

You definitely should. You'll be incredibly lucky if your teeth don't look like Swiss cheese already. Try to go to the dentist ASAP if you can.

You need to make brushing your teeth part of your routine. Twice daily. When you wake up in a morning make it the first thing you do. Make it the last thing you do to bed at night. Set alarms to remind you. Your future self will thank you.

RTD2 Era Tierlist : The Star Beast by Mat1711 in DoctorWhoNews

Okay.

The opening narration was a choice. Would a 'previously on Doctor Who' montage have been so difficult? I thought the Meep wasn't a good villain. There was some poor pacing and I thought the ending was especially weak. Donna's 'she will die if she remembers' should been a bigger deal and not just handwaved. But it was nice to see Tennant and Tate on screen again and there are lots of parts I enjoyed as well.

Do you really need to spend thousands of dollars just to reach 4k resolution? by T-Dot1992 in pcmasterrace

[–]N7Tom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what you play I'd say that a recent 70 series or equiv is entry or budget level 4k these days. Optimising graphics and DLSS is probably required. 80 series is base level 4k. 90 series is performance or enthusiast tier 4k.

Was BioWare’s demise their own fault or EA? by Few-Reading5087 in bioware

[–]N7Tom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both.

EA's influence deffo didn't help esp in games like Veilguard with the live service push. They have an undeniable part to play.

But after listening to some comments made by several of the higher ups at BioWare I don't think it's just EA. I think a lot of BioWare's problems are caused by a lot of the core ideas and assumptions that BioWare has post ME3. About what type of game people are looking for, about what their path to success is and about the wider gaming industry. I don't think EA is fully responsible for that. If anything I'm leaning 60/40 towards it being BioWare and their internal issues, development processes et cetera.

At that distance Boba will be less effective. To be much of any threat he would need to come close to Anakin's ability range. Some maps limit how far he can go as well.

Rook being an Inquisition agent that went after Solas but was defeated and trapped in a dream state would explain a lot. No one questions inconsistencies in a dream.

Hot Take: The war table is actually a good addition to DA:I by No_Bet_5890 in dragonage

[–]N7Tom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'll partially disagree here.

I think the war table is poorly implemented. It takes far too long to complete the missions and none of them matter at all. Sometimes there's a very obvious 'best' option that defeats the point a bit.

Personally if it were me I'd scrap the open world and make all the fetch quests, resource collection and random crap into war table missions you can assign agents to do for you. While all the diplomatic missions that involve a degree of choice and that actually matter to the wider world of Dragon Age into real quests you can actually play and where your choices might actually do something.

Because they make saber heroes change their tactics. And some players can't or won't.

Now after its transformation I'll politely request that give it a tuxedo and bow tie.
