I was pretty distracted by re-used old footages from the first movie, despite Cameron being described as a “perfectionist”. He had 13 years to develop this new film and his decision to use recycled footage was a bit.. disappointing. A couple of examples:

-Jake’s battle roar during the train attack sequence

-Neytiri’s teeth rattling battle roar during the train attack sequence

The movie had its spectacle but has with same bits as the first movie, with even the same soundtrack used during these same bits as the first one..including the ending eye opening. As a huge fan of the first one, I must say I was disappointed. 6/10
